"Head Study"

After two wipe outs trying to design an "entire figure" for a painting, I focused just on the face.

20 minutes later, here was my painting. Another artist painting in the room insisted I shouldn't touch this painting again, but I intended to continue as I liked my start. I left "the start" in the studio, and when I saw it the following week, it had an immediate impact, so I left it as a record of an honest 20 minutes of study.
