"Nancy's Barn, Ridgeview Farm"

Painted in June during my 3 weeks artist residency in the Arc of Appalachia Highlands Nature Sanctuary. Ridgeview is a farm restoration and American Chestnut Demonstration Orchard. It was in the low 90's the day I went out to paint. This smaller of two barns was being reclaimed by nature and just beamed at me begging to be painting. Even under my umbrella, it was HOT, but worth the effort.
