There were two trails, one that led down to the water level of the rocky cliffs, but I was uncertain of how to get onto that trail. I was also alone, and if I'd fallen, well, there just isn't much cell phone signal in this area. I kept on hiking along the narrow and rocky forest trail, stopping to wonder at the many types of multi-colored fungi that had popped out of the ground. Finally I came to a what was really just a tickle of water from a long downward slope to my left. To my right, it would continue down a steep rock cliff to the creek below. I looked and debated, "Should I stop here?" I noticed a large bolder to the side of the feeder stream and how the water glistened on the rocks lining the water's path, and finally collecting in a pool before continuing over the the trail and down the long decent to the creek. I had to try it.
