"The Madness of Spring"

Lynd's Fruit Farm in Pataskala, OH has provided me with lots of inspiration over the 30 years I've lived on Ohio. I am ever watchful in the spring for the peach blossoms. They don't always come if the weather is too cold. In winter, I schedule a paintout here in December for members of the Ohio Plein Air Society. Over the years, we have painted in temps as low as 21 degrees F.

One of my favorite times of year is when the peach trees are in bloom. With changing weather, they haven't had a chance to bloom as much as they once did a few years ago.
