"Barn Down the Street #8"

Painted on a glorious afternoon in Pataskala, OH. Just 2 miles from my home, this barn continues to be a great source of inspiration for me. As I drove by on this morning, my eye caught sight of the wonderful patterns in the mowed grass. It was a perfect lead-in to take the viewer's eye towards the barn. I went back in the afternoon, kicked off my shoes, and happily went to work on my 8th portrait of this barn, which sadly, is no longer used or cared for.
