"White Wedding"

Painted on April 30, 2011 with the OPAS 10th year Anniversary Exhibiton in mind. The painting became the beginning of my new series: "27 Dresses". Inspired by the "Royal Wedding" - which I'd just watched. This wedding dress shop is on High St. in the Short North Distrtict of Columbus, OH.

I entered this and two other paintings into a competition to win 8 nights in a resort spa hotel in Wexford, Ireland for the Art in the Open 2012 plein air competition, and WON! So Ireland, here I come!
